GUIDELINES OF PARENTS

A Collaborative Partnership: At Indian Public School, we believe that education is a shared responsibility between the school and the home. Your active partnership is vital to your child's success and well-being. We request your cooperation in adhering to the following guidelines to ensure a harmonious and productive learning journey for your child.

Morning & Evening Routines: For the safety and security of all students and to foster independence, parents are requested to accompany their children only as far as the school entrance. Please refrain from entering the classrooms during drop-off and pick-up times.

Fostering a Home Learning Environment: We encourage you to provide a calm, supportive atmosphere at home conducive to study. Please ensure your child prepares their lessons well and allocate time to review their homework daily, providing your signature to acknowledge completion.

Active Engagement in Academic Progress: Take a proactive interest in your child's academic journey by monitoring their regularity, punctuality, and discipline. Your involvement is crucial in reinforcing the values and routines essential for success.

Addressing Academic Performance: Please examine all progress reports carefully. For subjects where your child requires improvement, we seek your partnership in providing additional support and encouragement to help them achieve their full potential.

Timely Communication of Updates: To maintain accurate records, kindly inform the school office and your child’s Class Teacher immediately of any changes to your residential address, email, or contact numbers.

Items from Home: For your child's safety and to minimize distractions, please ensure they do not bring money, mobile phones, or other valuable electronic gadgets to school unless explicitly required and permitted.

A Shared Commitment to Discipline:We earnestly seek your cooperation in upholding the school's standards of punctuality, regularity, and discipline, reinforcing these values at home to create a consistent framework for your child.

Formal Channels for Feedback:For any concerns or complaints please follow the proper protocol by addressing them directly to the Class Teachers, Coordinators, and Principal, to ensure they are resolved efficiently and effectively.

Participation in School Community: Your presence is valued. We strongly encourage you to attend all scheduled parent-teacher meetings, school functions, and other events to stay informed and engaged in your child's school life.

Adherence to Uniform and Punctuality: Please ensure your child arrives at school on time, neatly dressed in the complete and correct school uniform every day. Punctuality is a key discipline that prepares them for future responsibilities.

Responsibility for School Property: We teach our students to respect shared resources. Any willful damage to school property by a student will be the financial responsibility of the parent/guardian, who will be charged for the necessary repairs or replacement.

Timely Dispersal from Campus:For the safety of all students, parents/guardians must pick up their children promptly after school hours. Please note that students may only be signed out during the designated dispersal times (e.g., 12:10 p.m. or 4:00 p.m.) and not intermittently.

Financial Commitments:To ensure the smooth functioning of the school, we kindly request that all school fees be paid promptly on or before the scheduled due dates.
